ESW Eurasia Editor Stanislav Krapivnik had a follow up interview with Drago Bosnic, a respected Serbian journalist and geopolitical analyst. They discussed the latest color revolution attempt in Belgrade which has pro-Ukrainian social media channels and legacy media stupidly claiming that Serbian people are turning against Russia. Drago says nothing could be further from the truth, the overwhelming majority of Serbs remain pro-Russian, united by shared Orthodox Christian faith and historic struggles with their Russian allies. Indeed, Belgrade is home for thousands of Russian expats.

Explaining the demonstrations, Drago believes many confused students are being sucked into the protests, sacrificing their educations to do so. He also says that the government of Aleksandar Vučić is unpopular due to its juggling act between the BRICS and NATO, which has Serbia landlocked and surrounded. The recently alleged use of a sonic weapon against protesters Drago believes, is a fabrication designed to provoke both the liberal Serb minority and the much larger nationalist groups against the government. Stas and Drago discuss the potential of an uprising against EU/NATO puppets suppressing free elections in Romania, and the "getting the Hapsburg band back together" aspect of Viktor Orban's Hungary and its allies in Austria and Slovakia.

You can find Drago's commentary from the defunct Ft. Russ News site here and also at Southfront, as well as in Serbian for Politika.rs.

Don't miss this informative interview covering a geopolitical hot spot in Europe!
