EU(SSR) Masks and Gloves Come Off in Romania

“A direct blow to the heart of democracy worldwide! I have one message left! If democracy in Romania falls, the entire democratic world will fall! This is just the beginning. It is that simple! Europe is now a dictatorship, Romania is under tyranny!” these were the words of Călin Georgescu. Mr. Georgescu was informed this week that his appeal to overturn the Romanian Central Election Bureau's ban on his candidacy had been upheld by the country's Constitutional Court in Bucharest.

The Romanian regime learned nothing from JD Vance's speech https://t.co/KB1ypAbyKx">

The tyrannical ruling, which could also be taken as Brussels and its EUrocrat minions in Bucharest giving Vice President JD Vance and Elon Musk the middle finger (more on that in a future ESW article from my colleagues), came days after the Romanian authorities arrested seven people in a ludicrous plot by pro-Russian Romanians to overthrow the government. The farcical planned putsch was allegedly named for the country's most famous medieval ruler, Vlad the Impaler. Prosecutors claimed one of the suspected coup plotters a centenarian WW2 veteran of Romania's war alongside Nazi Germany against the USSR. The script writers in London and Brussels are apparently getting quite lazy or simply don't give a fig about plausibility these days, and the legacy media dutifully reports their bullcrap, just as it did claims that Russia somehow boosted Georgescu to victory with TikTok ads. But I suppose they deserve a D- in narrative management for throwing in a Dracula reference for bored foreigners who know nothing else about Romania besides Transylvanian vampires other than "evil Russians are meddling which is why we have to overturn elections and ban candidates to save European democracy".

To any Romanian 45 years and older, this has got to be the déjà vu moment in their lives. The only major differences between Communist rule before and the present EU(SSR) was

1. the pretense of elections and 2. the amount of sovereignty. Even under Communism Romania did sometimes pursue a course distinct from the rest of the Eastern Bloc. Let's discuss.

Back before Romania overthrew the regime of Nicolae Ceaușescu in 1989, ending communist rule and embarking on the grand illusion of European democracy, the Romanian Communist party’s hold on power had lasted approximately 43 years.

During that time period, elections were held, of course, but there was no illusion of a choice. The choice, if there was one, was usually between one of two or three party apparatchiks. The powers that took over after 1989 learned from that, and while at first, there seemed to have actually been a choice from different parties and different viewpoints, by the time Romania joined the European Union on January 1st, 2007, such matters were already well under control.

Of course, the new/old Romanian and EU elites did not go back to the old ways of single party rule and a false choice between two identical apparatchiks, instead the illusion was held up by keeping two or three “separate” pro-globalist parties. These party lists varied only in the shades of their pro-globalism and cultural progressiveness. Unbelievably, this illusion of choice stayed the course for almost twenty years, until it came crashing into the wall of reality caused by Russia's Special Military Operation (SMO). Or more specifically, NATO accelerating its war plans for Southeastern Europe in response to Moscow's campaign to demilitarize Ukraine.

Romanians, whose Nazi-allied grandfathers and great grandfathers died by the hundreds of thousands in the fighting for Odessa, Crimea and later at Stalingrad, are in line to be the next collection of expendable Eastern European biomass to be thrown into the meatgrinder by their masters. NATO’s biggest air base in Europe is being built in Romania. Romanians are constantly being propagandized by their EU elites to prepare for war with Russia. The Bucharest elites had felt quite quite at home with their power base secure, so much so that they paid little attention to Calin Georgescu's candidacy. But to the Bucharest compradors' chagrin, Georgescu shocked everyone and surprised his supporters by winning 63% of the popular vote. There was zero doubt that with the field narrowed from three to two candidates in the runoff vote, that he would win by a landslide.

The Bucharest EU elites panicked, there was no more time for subtlety, the compradors' masks and velvet gloves came off, revealing the vampiric fangs and iron fists beneath the 'democratic' facade. When push comes to shove and an election outcome actually threatens EU/NATO globalist directives, any illusion of “democracy” in Europe has ended. The elections were rubbished on the grounds that Georgescu’s campaign was too effective in the use of X, Facebook and TikTok. Demonstrations broke out, hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets in protest across the country, and Georgescu’s popularity grew.

So the new elections were declared, Georgescu went to register and was arrested. Held for a day, with no charges leveled, but harassed and exhausted by the regime's illegal lawfare. Protests grew. He was let out.

So what to do? Easy, the panicked elites have declared that Calin Georgescu cannot stand for elections, as his “statements and behavior are incompatible with the office of the president.” What does the hell does that even mean? It means Georgescu has stated he is against Brussels dictating terms of life and death to Romania's economy, military and population. Even though he has yet to openly call for Romania to leave NATO, he's against NATO exploiting Romanians as cannon fodder against Russians the way Hitler's Third Reich exploited them as such versus the USSR in 1941-44. In short he is a beyond the pale “far-right” figure. That is, a non-globalist who wants peace in Ukraine and with Russia.

Demonstrations have grown even bigger and are turning violent, with riot police injured. For the NATO puppets, it's starting to look like the Maidan "Revolution of Dignity" sponsored by CIA and MI6 to overthrow a supposed pro-Russian Ukrainian President, but in reverse. This time there's still zero proof of any Russian support besides favorable media coverage for Georgescu. Romania is on the edge of revolution and the Bucharest and Brussels elites are going insane.

Doing nothing to repress the growing protests and returning to the status quo before Georgescu won is not an option. This time they've gone too far to suppress the will of the people and Romanians, especially young men, are becoming far more radicalized against them. The stakes here are not just about Romania joining Hungary, Slovakia and Austria as a voting bloc within the EU against the hardline globalists, this is much worse. If Georgescu or his allies win, Romania as a the linchpin of a NATO-instigated war with Russia over Moldova and Odessa falls apart. Moreover in Europe, history has shown that revolutions tend to come in waves. This happened between 1789 to 1799 with the fires of Enlightenment revolutions spreading out of France, and again with the liberal nationalist upheavals across Europe from 1848 to 1849. The Wall Street and London-sponsored Revolution in 1917 that the Germans had facilitated by exporting V.I. Lenin like a virus to Petrograd quickly blew back on Berlin, with Red workers and sailors uprisings in 1918 through 1919.

If or rather, when the current globalist Romanian dictatorship (and we're well past the point of referring to it as such) collapses in the face of a patriotic uprising, Moldova will absolutely see anti-NATO/EU mass protests in Chisinau as well as by the pro-Russian Gagauzians and Transnistrians. Who will be next? Bulgaria, whose Orthodox Christian and liberation from the Ottoman Turkish yoke affinity for Russia has been suppressed by 150 years of Anglo-Gaullic paid-off compradors? Ditto for Greece? Northern Macedonia? Slovenia? And then after that? Italy, where sympathy for Russia remains widespread despite the media and establishment suppressing it going back to the Operation Gladio 'years of lead' and OSS/CIA Mafia alliance during and after WW2?

Clearly the EUrocrat globalists cannot allow the dominos to start falling, so what to do? Killing Georgescu will only enrage his supporters, but allowing his Alliance for the Unity of Romanians party to peacefully achieve power jeopardizes NATO's aggressive plans for the entire Black Sea littoral and Southeastern Europe. Everything then will depend on the Baltic states and Anglo-French Entente goading the increasingly reluctant Poles into serving as cannon fodder against the Russians in Ukraine. Maybe taking a page from the Warsaw Pact in 1956 and 1968 “peacekeepers" from various EU states will roll armored vehicles into Bucharest to suppress Romanian patriots, claiming that this is necessary to stop Russian sponsored revolutions? Call it NATO's very own Brezhnev Doctrine--British and EU controlled press approved!

Being part of the EU has shown the people of Romania that at least on internal matters, they were much more freer to dissent against the Bloc's orders under communist rule as part of the Warsaw Pact than they are today under the EUSSR. The Warsaw Pact's hardliners in East Germany and Soviet Moscow mostly left the Romanians alone to sort out their postwar poverty and other internal issues, largely turning a blind eye to Ceaușescu's Tito-esque diplomacy and trade with the USSR, Mao's China and the West. EU bureaucrats are not so kind. After almost twenty years of this and decreasing standards of living, mass emigration of young people/brain drain to Western Europe, and resulting collapsing birthrates, plus pressure to take in millions of non-Christian migrants, the Romanian people have had enough.

The next few weeks will show just how tyrannical and forceful the bureaucrats and technocrats in Brussels are willing to get. Get your popcorn out and take a seat in your favorite lounger, this is promising to be very interesting. US VP Vance was quite right in his critique of the EUSSR, but being criticized by both the White House and Russians is driving EUrocrats into insane delusions of their grandparents' Fortress Europe.
