Tim Kirby Interviewed Pavel Krasnov
Krasnov compared Trump's overtures toward Russia to a bad relationship where the spouses continually fight then make up

Last week our buddy Tim Kirby interviewed Pavel Krasnov on the OrangeMan and how his diplomatic initiatives toward Russia are almost certainly doomed to failure, even if Trump himself is sincere in his wishes for peace. Krasnov compared Trump's overtures toward Russia to a bad relationship where the spouses continually fight then make up, but always end up clashing over the same issues. Krasnov contended that the US and Russia need to just go their separate ways and find a way to coexist without fighting.
Tim Kirby said he agreed that Western elites can never accept Russians as equals, no matter how much money they make and deposit in Western banks or try to dress and act like Westerners. Tim added that he tried to explain to many Russians that quite a few Westerners look down on them, and Pavel added that younger people started to recognize this amid the cancellation of all things Russian in the West after the SMO. Pavel quoted Dr. Henry Kissinger's famous line about the fall of the Shah in Iran, "It's dangerous to be America's enemy, but it can be lethal to be America's friend".
This is an interesting hour-long interview that touches on questions of Russian history and identity, especially ordinary Russians' growing awareness of these matters.
