Trump-Putin Phone Call

Our buddy AmericanVillages.ru founder Tim Kirby discussed the latest, 2 1/2 hour (148 minute) phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Tim said he believes there's much more being discussed between the Trump White House and the Kremlin than a 30 day ceasefire or an NHL-KHL hockey match between American and Russian players, which is what the transcripts issued by either side say. Tim also talked about recently hosting and translating for Judge Andrew Napolitano, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, and podcaster Mario Nawfal while they were visiting Moscow to interview Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Tim also discussed the visit of Conor McGregor to the Trump White House, and how Trump is likely to host more European activists like McGregor in the future. Tim thinks there may be a push by Trump's team and the people behind Trump to shove all the globalists into Europe where they are deeply entrenched. Tim also pointed to the cognitive dissonance even among "conspiracy theorists" who think globalism is being shoved down their families' throats, but refuse to relocate to another country to get away from it. Tim also said mainline politicians like French President Emmanuel Macron don't typically act on their stated convictions, including Macron's bluster about openly sending French troops to fight Russia in Ukraine, and that may be a similar psychological phenomenon.

On positive notes, Tim also said he will be hosting another content contributor to ESW soon, Matthew Ehret, on his program. He also spoke with Sam, a plumber/electrician who is a catechumen in the Orthodox Church and moving to Russia. Tim mentioned that his Youtube channel--not the OG one that had 100s of thousands of Russian followers--but another one has been unbanned. So, baby steps since January 20, 2025 toward a less censored Internet, at least for many of us.
