Welcome to a New Era of Living, Working and Saving Abroad

The world is changing faster than ever before. Especially those of us living in the increasingly dis-United States, the former United Kingdom and Canada--millions of us have felt this quickening since the Pandemic. The relief from stifling commutes that millions more experienced as they worked from home for the first time during an otherwise dismal COVID year of 2020-21 has not been forgotten, even with the pressure to return to half-empty office buildings. And for too many people, 'return to the office' comes with being resigned to working paycheck to paycheck with their meager savings accumulated during the stimulus checks swiftly exhausted by runaway inflation.

My question as ExitStrategy.world's publisher to a first time visitor to this new site and the other, much more established websites of the global relocation industry is this: what's stopping you from making the life-changing move not just to a better, less taxed and stressed out state, but to a better way of living in another country? Is it your job still having a minimal office presence requirement every week or month? Your closest relatives being too old or set in their ways to relocate to another country? Your kids' education and the daunting prospect of home schooling them, despite your recognition that public or costly private schools are dumbing and woke-ing your children down? Or is it a spouse or other close one who just isn't ready to take that plunge with you and needs more time to think?

Whatever is holding you back from doing something you've been thinking and dreaming of doing for months or years now, just know this: you are not crazy, and you are not alone. There are online communities, including this one, to help you take the next steps on your journey. Nor do you have to face the daunting prospect of making that big move alone and all at once. You have time to plan, particularly for the work and finances aspect of your global relocation. And the good news is: thanks to cryptocurrencies and the ability to quickly move in and out of them--especially Bitcoin--it's never been easier to move significant assets offshore legally and with as much privacy as possible.

El Salvador, whose young President Nayib Bukele posted this meme-tweet popularized by Max Keiser, may be among the first nations to embrace Bitcoin. But the Salvadorians under President Bukele certainly won't be the last nationality to reclaim their national sovereignty and accelerate their economic development using the world's leading digital asset. Because Bitcoin and stablecoins are changing the game, making it possible to live, do business in and bypass to some degree or another the capital controls in some of the world's hyperinflation-debanked or klepto-banked countries.

In other words, if you happen to live in the US, UK or EU and have Lebanese, Egyptian or Turkish parents, the ability to keep the bulk of your assets digitally safe and banked offshore in places like Dubai rather than subjecting them to the ravages of confiscatory inflation and bank runs...well that changes things. You can seriously contemplate returning to the land of your ancestors and putting your dollars and euros earned in the post-Western world to work, acquiring real estate or other assets in your parents or grandparents homeland. But this paradigm shift is not a one way street.

U.S. citizens too, can now contemplate lowering their living expenses by going South of the Border or going East to Asia, while keeping their assets digitally stored in the post-West. Alternatively American business owners can do what they've seen Amazon and Google do, with their offshore corporate entities formed in Ireland to minimize and in some cases almost eliminate their corporate income taxes. What if you too, could drastically reduce your tax burden by incorporating in Dubai (hello no income tax or capital gains on earnings in the Emirates) while having your UAE corporation own a Wyoming LLC as a subsidiary, keeping all your American businesses and real estate under that umbrella of corporate anonymity and limited liability?
