V the Guerrilla Economist has become a Name Synonymous with Over a Decade of Uncanny Forecasts and Insights on the Emerging Multipolar World. VJ has been in the commodity brokerage space for many years, working in the rare earth and strategic metals industries.
V’s career took a significant turn during the Global Financial Crisis, when he stepped into the banking sector. Starting in 2010, V worked as a banker working with medium and large-scale corporations and businesses by creating strategies in banking, debt and credit markets for a City of London Member Bank’s US Operations.

It wasn’t long before V made a strategic shift from banking to the precious metals industry, catering to HNWIs, Family Offices, and Institutional clients. His focus: **leveraging the security and liquidity of gold through the LBMA Good Delivery system and helping clients in moving their personal and corporate assets beyond the confines of domestic fiat banking.**
In 2013 he joined as a broker in precious metals for a London Bullion Market Association member procurement and logistics company. There he worked in global asset allocation, jurisdictional banking, international currencies and international metals trading. In 2016 he became active in digital assets and quickly moved to an institutional position. He stands as an expert in both fields today.

Recognizing the immense potential of blockchain and decentralized fintech early in the 2010s, V became an early investor in and evangelist for Bitcoin. V’s foresight into how emerging decentralized finance would disrupt the traditional banking system and governments implementing capital controls led him to co-found ESW at the nexus of the citizenship/residency by investment (CBI) and cross-border fintech industries.
Working with his international partners in southern Europe and the UAE, V is an expert in addressing special situations and crypto-to-fiat liquidity problems. When V is not working with his clients, you can find him at the gym or driving high performance and classic cars through the Tri-state area.
