President Vladimir Putin's declaration that Russia would accept traditional families from Russia's unfriendly list of hostile Western woke-(il)liberal countries, with a simplified procedure and lowered requirements to stay in Russia, was met as one would expect in Washington and London: with laughter and derision.

Since mid-August, most Western organs of government propaganda, hence forth referred to as the “MSM”, have simply ignored Putin's historic decree. Others laughed or put out lies that all the “fools” who would travel to Russia will be instantly press-ganged into the military and sent to die at the Donbass front. Of course the MSM knows what press-ganging is, after all their favorite hero and defender of “Our Democracy” Volodymyr Zelensky deploys press gangs all over the Ukraine to fill his ever dwindling ranks of NATO meat shields.

The more militantly woke elements have been screeching online: leave MAGA leave, we don’t need you crazies and Christianists (a play on the word Islamist) here. The Daily Kos is one such idiotic hyper-partisan Democrat rag that states for its audience of low information voters: “Think your country is going too 'woke'? Can’t stand all the rights and freedoms being granted to LGBTQ+ people? Want to find a safe space from all the 'woke' liberals around you? You’re going to LOVE Russia, a place where 'Don’t Say Gay' is enforced at gunpoint and where 'woke' liberals are sent to die a violent death on the front lines.”

Where to start the deconstruction of such stupidity and out right lying by (il)liberals? That alone could become a full-time job.

While screaming and laughing and insulting, down deep, most of the (il)liberal police state politicians and their wretched ideological mouthpieces know that the people Russia is trying to attract are some of the best workers remaining in their failing economies. These are the salt of the earth people who do the honest labor, whose parents and grandparents have defended Western countries, and who farm the land. As much as Western bureaucrats despise these people, they also realize deep down that they and their increasingly fake paper GDP economies would crumble without them.

To that end, the US government, in its effort to clamp down on any dissenting view points amongst its peasants, has used the Biden/Harris Department of Justice to spread libel about MAGA show hosts being puppeteered, paid agents of the Russian government. It would now seem that the rise in conservative and traditional values, the refusal to buckle to the woke ideology in the US, is really all Russia's fault.

When the list of 42 hostile governments finally came out, several countries complained that they were on the list…that it was unfair. First and foremost complainants were the Hellenic republics of Greece and Cyprus. Both proclaimed that they had long historical relations with Russia and that being placed on this list was unfair. Yes, indeed, Russia saved the collapsing Greek independence movement by declaring war on the Ottomans and destroying their armies and navy, thus securing reborn Greek statehood and sovereignty. Such historic memory and shared Orthodox Christianity of course, did not stop the governments of Greece and Cyprus from sending weapons to the Zelensky dictatorship and taking various other anti-Russian acts, such as sanctions and asset confiscations.

But what is the reality on the ground in Russia since the presidential decree? While it is still too early to tell just how well this program will work, some movement has already started.

In 2023, even at the height of present tensions and insane sanctions against everything Russian, by the collective west, Russia issued 160,000 visas to EU citizens, 58,888 of which were Germans. Latvia came in third place with 20,902 and Italy came in at a far third with 10,031 visas. Most of the Latvian visas were for Russians by nationality as well as Latvian anti-fascists moving to Russia.

Migration by Westerners into Russia, as opposed to just tourism, has been growing, even as tourism and business trips have collapsed since 2020, well before the start of the Special Military Operation (SMO).

One such immigrant, Adam Golembeiskii, a German builder who owned his own company in Germany, moved to Russia’s Orenburg with his wife, two sons and daughter-in-law, stated that: “Family values. In Russia, the family is the most important thing, it is what the government has aimed its policies on. Germany is not like that.’

A former MP of the German parliament, and a Russian-German immigrant to Germany from several years ago, Vladimir Gerdt stated in an interview in Sept 2022 that there are over 4.2 million Russian-Germans in Germany, many or even most of whom would be willing to move back to Russia if conditions improved and the work offers fair. Now that this has been met, we may be on the cusp of seeing a record wave of professionals and small-medium businessmen streaming back in ever greater numbers.

Such a move would be a major blow to an already faltering German economy and a major boost to Russia, as well as a 2% to 3% rise in population by people who share the Russian language, Christian faith and culture.

As a parallel step in this process, a group of investors and immigrants to Russia from the U.S. have started a construction project called AmericanVillages.ru located near the city of Istra, a provincial city located approximately 80km west of Moscow. This and similar projects may entice more residents, though the majority will still locate to larger cities or to the country side, depending on whether they are aiming for farm life or professional careers.

A week ago, the Daily Mail reported that 35 Britons have “ditched” the UK to move to Russia since the law came into effect.

American citizens Leo Lionel and Chantel Felice Haer and their children, aged 16, 14, and 11, who were able to get residency through the new program stated, “Personally I want to thank your President Putin for allowing Russia to become a good place for families in this world climate”.

He than added: “I feel like I've been put in an arch of safety. And it's very important. Thank you so much”.

US-born farmer and newly minted Russian citizen Justus Walker put it in perspective: “When you're starting a farm in the United States or Canada or somewhere else, the number one line item for expense is going to be your land, bar none. Like land will often be as expensive as everything else put together, whereas in Russia at the moment your land is cheaper than your equipment. Your land is cheaper than your house”.

Of course not everything is so simple as just packing your bags and heading for the airport. Any move will have challenges and obstacles that must be recognized, considered, planned and overcome.

One of the biggest obstacles to moving to Russia has become financial, or rather more specifically, the transfer of money. While selling your goods off and moving money is possible and crypto-currency does enable this, the western ministries of finance and their tax collection services tend to go after people who transfer their money to Russia. This makes financial intermediaries, such as Emirati banks, or banks in Turkey, Georgia and other intermediary countries so vital for people who do not wish to have their hard earned monies stolen by the moral degenerates they are fleeing. This in many ways so resembles the Soviet Union in its latter days, when it started to allow people to leave but would confiscate all they owned. The similarities in this and the various other actions and policies of the present western and former Soviet states is frightening.

This, more than anything else, such a move will require professional help and advice to facilitate a safe and smooth move. ExitStrategy.World can give useful, professional advice and help formulate a plan for a legal move of assets, setting your family up for success in their newly adopted land.
