ESW Eurasia Editor Stanislav Krapivnik: What Ukraine Ceasefire?

Stanislav Krapivnik ESW's Eurasia Editor made a spring "walk the dog" video this past weekend for his Eyes of Truth YouTube channel. In the short video, Stas spoke about the Greeks who settled in the Ukraine during the Russian Empire. He also expressed his doubts about Trump negotiating any lasting ceasefire between Moscow and Kiev/NATO. Stas also shared his disdain for the newly elected Chancellor Joachim-Friedrich Merz's blowout war spending plans for German rearmament, as well as UK PM Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron's threats to openly deploy combat troops in Ukraine.

Stas believes even if Europe avoids direct open war with Russia, a war for which they would demand American money, equipment and intelligence support, multiple EU countries could fall into civil unrest and internal conflict.
